A community movement founded on volunteering, solidarity, responsibility and collective development.
Our story
An organization born of an observation
Many members of Canada's African community go through settlement alone. The paperwork is long, the reference points are missing, and the network that could speed everything up remains invisible to someone who has just arrived. When difficulty strikes — job loss, illness, bereavement — that isolation comes at a high price.
Forces Dynamiques RPN Canada was created in September 2024 by Thierry Serge Fotso to answer that observation with organization rather than improvisation: bringing together those who know and those who are looking, structuring mutual aid, and making the network a real resource rather than a promise.
FDRC is a volunteer movement. No one is paid for their commitment: what the organization produces, it owes to the time its members choose to give.

To build a united, responsible and supportive community, recognized for its leadership and its contribution to the development of the RPN.
Mission
To promote solidarity, support newcomers, develop leadership, stand with families, foster professional integration and contribute to the development of the RPN.
What binds us
Seven values, binding on everyone
These values are not decorative: they appear in FDRC's charter, and any breach may lead to measures set out in the general by-laws.

Mutual aid, trust and honouring the commitments made to fellow members.

The dignity of every person, whatever their origin, situation or path.

Consistency between what we say and what we do, in all circumstances.

Standing behind our commitments and answering for our decisions before the community.

Governance
The founding president
An engineer based in Québec, Thierry Serge Fotso is also vice-president of the Retour au Pays Natal network. FDRC grew out of that dual experience — the settlement journey and community organizing.
Article 17 of the charter officially recognizes him as founding president and guardian of the organization's vision, values and mission.
Leadership is not a title. It is a service grounded in example, listening, competence and accountability.
