Our commitment
FDRC exists to strengthen the RPN
Retour au Pays Natal (RPN) is a community initiative that organizes, Canada-wide, the dignified repatriation of members of the African community and the respect of their final wishes. Its strength lies in numbers: the more members there are, the lighter each contribution becomes.
FDRC recognizes the RPN as a major pillar of community solidarity and acts as its strategic partner: raising awareness, guiding newcomers toward membership, keeping active members engaged and training future leaders.
Why it matters
Too often, a death in the community triggers an improvised public collection, made in haste and embarrassment. The RPN offers the opposite: a prepared, collective and dignified response.

Founding president
Thierry Serge Fotso
FDRC was founded in September 2024 by Thierry Serge Fotso, an engineer based in Québec and vice-president of the Retour au Pays Natal network. His conviction: a community that organizes itself stops being at the mercy of events.
FDRC's charter officially recognizes him as the guardian of the organization's vision, values and mission. He sees leadership as a service: leading by example, listening, competence and accountability, well before any question of title.
